Sponsor Feature: Northern Vision Development Supporting the Games From the Start

March 9, 2026

Northern Vision Development (NVD) is proud to be an Arctic Legend sponsor of the Whitehorse 2026 Arctic Winter Games — a celebration of youth, sport, culture, and northern pride on a world stage.

As a Yukon-based development and hospitality group, NVD believes in supporting initiatives that strengthen community and create opportunities for young people across the North. The Arctic Winter Games bring together participants from across the circumpolar world, fostering connection and cultural exchange alongside athletic achievement.

NVD has supported the Host Society since the early planning stages of the Games, including providing office space for the AWG 2026 team. During the Games, NVD’s hotels will also help welcome visitors, officials, and special guests — showcasing Yukon hospitality during one of the territory’s biggest moments.

“Our company is incredibly proud to be an Arctic Legend sponsor for the Arctic Winter Games,” said Michael Hale, CEO of Northern Vision Development. “For more than two decades, NVD has been a proud member of the Yukon business community. We have always believed strongly in the role that the private sector can play in giving opportunities to youth and supporting community events. The AWG is a fantastic example of doing just that — and we couldn’t imagine a better event to support.”

NVD is proud to stand with the Host Society as we welcome the circumpolar North to Whitehorse and help bring AWG 2026 to life.
