Accredited Media Portal

Welcome to the Whitehorse 2026 Arctic Winter Games Accredited Media Centre — a secure, centralized hub for accredited media.

This page provides access to key AWG 2026 resources, including branding and usage guidelines, operational policies, sport schedules, event listings, maps, media services information, contact lists, and high-resolution photo and video assets.

We look forward to welcoming you to the Games!

Your Access to the Games

In addition to public areas for AWG spectators, accredited media will have access to designated media zones and mixed zones across all 14 sport venues.

Media zones are restricted to accredited media and provide a sporting-level area for photography and videography of competitions, medal presentations, etc.

Mixed zones are accessible by accredited media and Games participants, providing a space for athlete and coach interactions to occur for the purpose of interviews, etc.

Athlete-only areas, locker rooms, medical spaces, and restricted zones are off-limits to media.

You will need to show your AWG accredited media ID at Access Control points within each venue to access the media zones and mixed zones, so be sure to keep your ID with you. You can find information about the 14 sport venues, sporting schedules and mixed zone procedures below.

Accreditation also provides access to the Media Centre at the Canada Games Centre, which will serve as the central hub for media operations, information, and support.

In addition, accredited media will have the opportunity to request interviews with athletes, coaches, and officials, subject to availability and event schedules. Each contingent has identified a media contact to support interview requests and facilitate communication with media during the Games. You can find contingent contact info below.
